OSCER users,
OURdisk is back in full production and new jobs are starting to
flow through the queues on Schooner again. Your data remains safe
as it always has been. We have identified the issue which caused the
freeze of the filesystem. And we are also putting safeguards in place to
help with problem solving and hopefully keep the issue from happening
again. We're switching the filesystem client that the supercomputer is
using to access of your files on OURdisk. This should help with stable
file access.
We encourage any user to let us know if there is an issue accessing
your OURdisk files. We continue to improve it. Rest assured your data
continues to be safe. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
