The SCC Continuing Education and SC Professional Development Committees have arranged a robust slate of classes, including both virtual and in-person options, that will be offered in association with this year's SCC-SC/MLA Joint Meeting. A variety of interests are covered from consumer health to systematic reviews to DEI to cutting-edge technology, such as 3D printing and ChatGPT!

A number of classes can also be taken as electives for the MLA Specializations: Data Services, Consumer Health Information, and Systematic Review Services. Learn more about the MLA Specializations at https://www.mlanet.org/p/cm/ld/fid=42 and by registering for the MLA Specializations Information Session on July 19th at 11am CST.

Read about the classes on the Joint Meeting website at https://www.sccmla.org/Meetings/2023/ce, and view the full Continuing Education Program at https://app.box.com/v/2023CEProgram.

Registration for all classes, both virtual and in-person, must be completed through the Meeting Registration web page. If you are unable to meet in-person this year, you will be sorely missed! But, you can still participate by registering for the virtual classes!

Note: if you viewed the Joint Meeting website earlier in June, you may not be able to see the "CE" link listed on the banner due to a pesky little thing called cache. Just do a hard refresh - hold down the Ctrl key while refreshing the page or press Ctrl and F5 at the same time.

Also, if you need financial assistance for these classes, you can apply for the William D. Postell, Sr. Professional Development Award offered through the SCC Awards and Scholarships Committee.

We hope you join us for these amazing learning opportunities!
