Casting a Wide Net: Combating Health Misinformation in Alaska
Please join the NNLM on Tuesday, August 29 at 11PT/12MT/1CT/2ET for Casting a Wide Net: Combating Health Misinformation in Alaska.
In the fall of 2022, Librarians at the Alaska Medical Library were the recipients of a grant to combat health misinformation. After gathering and creating health misinformation materials,
they worked with faculty and staff at the University of Alaska Anchorage to promote these materials across the State. This presentation will showcase these materials and its potential impact on communities across Alaska, including the university.
