2024 Leadership Pathways Awardee

NNLM Region 3's Leadership Pathways Award is currently in its second year - we are thrilled to announce that we have two (2) awardees in 2024!

The purpose of the Leadership Pathways Award is to create a pathway for current early-to-mid-career librarians to explore leadership roles within the health sciences library profession. The award focuses on exploring and developing management skills with guidance from experienced health sciences library managers, who will introduce the award recipient to the managerial and supervisory responsibilities of a health science library unit, which can include fiscal and administrative duties.

We'd like to introduce you to one of our two Leadership Pathways awardees this year, Stefanie Lapka; please join us in congratulating her! Learn more about our awardee and their mentor below. Look out for more introductions to our awardees in the coming weeks!
