2024 OWP Amazing Writing Race--African Expedition Edition

Schedule:
9:00  Arrive At Zoo; Follow OKC Zoo School Entrance Procedures
9:30 The Amazing Writing Race Begins
9:30-Noon Complete Writing Challenges
Noon--Race Concludes

After race conclusion--schools may choose to lunch on their own/explore the zoo.  

Race Requirement:  The ratio of students to teachers/adults is 7 to 1. (For every 7 students, you must have one adult to assist with the race). 

Schools will need to contact OKC Zoo to purchase Zoo Entrance Tickets.  Schools will work directly with OKC Zoo to pay for admission fees.  This will allow adult chaperones to use Zoo passes and/or receive the free adult entrance based on student ratios.

To participate in the OWP Amazing Writing Race--schools will pay an additional fee to OWP.  

The race fee will be $10 per student.  Adults/Teachers are free for the race (Will just need to pay Zoo Entrance Fee) 

Once you have registered your students by completing information below--a quote will be sent to your school for payment.  

You will receive directions where to meet in the OKC Zoo to start the race prior to event.  More information will come!
