I have put together a group of seniors that have recently gone through the application process, DAT, interviews, etc...and I would like them to "Share their knowledge" with you while it is fresh on their minds!

*For both tours: Meet at the NORTHEAST corner of the Lloyd Noble Center Parking lot no later than 3:15pm in order to carpool and leave and make it up there for our 4-5pm tour. You will be back by around 5:45pm! Look for T.J. to sign in on Monday, and Alexandra on next Thursday!

1st: The forms to fill out for Committee Interview are out infront of Nancy's office. RH 209. Due March 20th, day back from spring break.

2nd. The BIG event: Each year thousands of Ou students, and faculty unity in an effort to say "thank-you" to Norman and OKC. That is a description of the event. :)

in Cleveland at hospitals such as the Cleveland Clinic, University

Next Thursday, November 10, the Premed Advising Office will sponsor a
New Applicants Workshop, 4:30-5:30 p.m. in Richards Hall, 304. No sign
up is required; just show up. This workshop is aimed at orienting
students who plan to apply to medical school, dental school, podiatric
school or optometry school during the upcoming application cycle
(summer 2006 to enter 2007). Topics to be covered include: how to
assess if this is the best time for you to apply and the strength of
your application; what are professional schools looking for in
applicants; how to go about selecting which schools to apply [...]

Dear PDC,

We just wanted you to be aware of some free mock exams coming up.
While we certainly don’t push signing up for the prep courses and
shelling out the big bucks for it, the mock exams are very useful tools
to get a feel for the exam(s). Just keep in mind that Kaplan is in the
business of selling prep courses – it’s a money-making business!

Predental Committee Interview

NOW is the time to pick up the Self Assessment form outside my office
(across the hall) and turn in on March 21st in order to qualify for a
Premed/Predental Committee Interview this summer. Dental interviews
(combined with optometry interviews) will be held in May and June,
chaired by Dr. William Ortiz-Leduc. Premedical and Prepodiatric
Committee Interviews will be held in May through August, with August
interview times being held for those who will be out of the country
during the May-July time-frame. Premed Committees are chaired by a
