This online and in-person event brings together STEM Librarians and Information Professionals from across the United States to share ideas, current research, and best practices in library instruction, reference services, collection development, data management, digital scholarship, outreach, and more.
The conference will be held on November 9th and 10th, 2026. Monday, November 9th will feature in-person sessions at the Texas Medical Center Library in Houston, Texas. Tuesday, November 10th will be held virtually via Zoom.

The slow food movement in Italy inspired the concept of slow librarianship, and it was initially articulated through the lens of white women academics.
