Thanks, Jessica, for that explanation of Schedule C and the easier version.  It could be helpful for many of us, especially writers who have never heard of Schedule C until now.  But there's a much bigger change coming.  Like a hurricane offshore.  I've heard that if and when the big tax revision goes into effect, we're likely to lose many if not all of our deductions.

Let's not worry about that yet.  Let's focus on writing.  Then focus on selling what we write.
