The National Writing Project welcomes six new sites into its network. The new sites are located in Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Nebraska, and New York.

SPRING MEETING REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS NEAR ––
With NWP's federal funding in jeopardy, legislators need to hear from you now! The NWP Spring Meeting in Washington, DC, March 25-26, is your chance to educate Congress in face-to-face meetings about the great work you do. DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR THIS SUMMER'S DIRECTORS RETREAT ––
Sites are invited to apply to send a team of two site leaders to the NWP Directors Retreat, August 1–5, in Tubac, Arizona. The retreat is designed to support directors and site leaders as they share expertise and plan the development of site work. Deadline: MARCH 15.

Send a team of two to work on broadening and expanding your site's inservice programs in Austin, Texas, July 15–17. The institute is hosted by the Heart of Texas Writing Project. Limited to 20 sites; registration is first-come, first-served. Deadline: MARCH 19.

Sites are invited to apply to send a team to Recruiting for Diversity, a working meeting with a focus on increasing diversity in site leadership, in Minneapolis, June 25-27. Teams will explore relevant definitions of diversity in their service area, why diversity matters, and how to plan for changes at their site. Deadline: MARCH 19.
