The Senate Dear Colleague letter is still in circulation. NWP's federal funding remains in jeopardy. Our legislators need to hear from you now! DEADLINE EXTENDED TO APPLY FOR "RECRUITING FOR DIVERSITY" ––
Sites are invited to apply to send a team to Recruiting for Diversity, a working meeting with a focus on increasing diversity in site leadership, in Minneapolis, June 25-27. Teams will explore relevant definitions of diversity in their service area, why diversity matters, and how to plan for changes at their site. Extended deadline: APRIL 1.

The Urban Sites Network invites you to Portland, Oregon, April 23-24, for Writing Across the Margins: Illuminating Urban Voices. The gathering includes a pre-conference event sponsored by the Technology Liaisons Network, workshops, school visits, two writing marathon strands, an Open Mic night, and more, including keynote speaker and renowned poet Patricia Smith at the Saturday plenary session.
