Hello all,

Hopefully you've seen the fliers or heard in class that we are having a guest speaker this Friday for Art History
Association. She is Dr. Elizabeth Lipsmeyer of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and will be speaking on
the role of monumental wooden sculpture circa 1000ad. The talk will be held in FJ 203 at 4:00pm (instead of
7pm). There will be an opening reception at 3:30 and the talk will follow. This should be a great opportunity to
aquaint yourself with new areas in art history, so come and bring a friend! We would really love to give Dr.
Lipsmeyer a lovely welcome, so please do all try to attend!

Feel free to email me with any questions.
Hope to see you all there!
