Subject: Call for Papers for the 4th Annual Conference at the University of Chicago

Dear Professor Lauer,

I write to you on behalf of the graduate students of the University of
Chicago. I am attaching the call for papers for the Department's
Fourth Annual Conference entitled: Political Dreams and Nightmares in
Iberian and Latin American Literatures." scheduled for April 15-16
2011 at the Franke Institute for the Humanities at the University of
Chicago. We have invited Professor Arcadio Díaz-Quiñones, Emory L.
Ford Professor of Spanish at Princeton University as our keynote
speaker. The conference organizing committee welcome abstracts and
panel proposals from graduate students specializing in all subfields
within Hispanic Literatures. Abstracts of approximately 250 words may
be sent as a Word attachment to the conference email address: [log in to unmask]
The deadline for submissions is December 15, 2010. Should you or
your graduate students have any questions about the conference, they
can contact the organizing committee at the conference email address.
I am also more than delighted to answer any questions anyone has about
