·         The impact of the Affordable Care Act on individuals with heritable disorders

·         Update on the Pompe condition nomination

·         Update on surveillance activities by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Critical Congenital Heart Disease (CCHD) and its link to infant health and mortality

·         Lessons learned from Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) and their applicability to CCHD screening

·         Updates on priority projects from the Advisory Committee’s subcommittees on Laboratory Standards and Procedures, Follow-up and Treatment, and Education and Training
