I sorry I didn't explain very well.  It will be the same account in both
cases.  The other mail box contains historical email that he wants
merged into the same folder / mail box.   I didn't think about creating
a second mail box and pointing it to the other directory.  I was just
hopeing for some merge tool.  This is not a windows box but a mac osx.

Just curious, what client do you prefer?
