This is a reminder that we need folks to help out with our Howdy Week student organization fair recruitment table on the South Oval tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you can stop by, even for an hour or so, it would be a tremendous help! I plan on setting up one of our little picnic shelters over the table to provide shade. Please let me know if you can come.
I also need someone to meet me on the South Oval at about 8 a.m. for setup. I need to drop off the equipment from my car and have someone guard it while I park. If you can be there early, please let me know!
We also need a tripod or something on which to mount the antenna. The Buddipole that we bought with our UOSA funds didn't come with legs. (Apparently that's only included in the "deluxe" version). The mast terminates in a receptacle for a 5/8" threaded screw. I might have a tripod that will work, but I'm not positive. If you have one, could we please use it?
We have one charged battery available to power the radio for a few hours. If anyone has an additional battery we could use, please let me know!
Thanks in advance for your help!
