In most clubs, fundraising comes from either dues or hamfests; there
isn't much else.

As amateurs, we have no way to sell any radio service -- about all we
can do is sell something else. Some clubs sell burgers or balloons at
local civic events, others seek equipment donations, etc. There's no
doubt that this is a tough nut to crack.
