Hi folks -
Welcome back to OU Amateur Radio Club!
Our first event of the academic year is the Howdy Week student organization recruitment fair, which is scheduled to occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wed., August 27th on the South Oval. In previous years, we've set up a station at our table using a Buddipole antenna, and used that to demonstrate ham radio to incoming students. We need volunteers to sit at this table, operate the radios, and collect names and e-mails.
I'm currently planning to start setting up at 8 a.m., and will stay as long as needed. If you can help for even an hour or two between classes, that would be excellent! Please let me know when you think you can come.
Thanks!
P.S. If you have moved on and wish to be removed from this list, please e-mail [log in to unmask]
