Wait ... nope.  That QSO was never confirmed.  I do have a confirmed QSO with a station on Long Island (N2GHR - check his station pics on QRZ!) at 2196 km ...

Sporadic E propagation is fascinating.  And fun - my best (confirmed) DX is with a station in Connecticut just over 2200 km away ... on 2m SSB.
