Good evening, I am Colby Stevens, KG5XR, the current President of W5YD at
Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. We at W5YD are reaching out
to determine interest in starting up a SEC QSO Party, for all the
universities in the conference to participate in. We were thinking of doing
it on December 2nd. This is the day of the SEC Championship game in
Atlanta. On this email I have included all current points of contact that I
found for all clubs in the SEC. I also have added the University of Texas
and the University of Oklahoma.

As to the format, I would suggest a standard QSO party. With the
Universities being worth a high amount of points. With non colleges being a
smaller value. The reason for wanting to do this, in digging through club
archives, we found that there was an SEC SES during the championship game
in 2011.

If your club is interested and would like to get involved, help plan or
offer advice. Please reach out and let me know. If there is enough
interest, I will create a discord channel to help organize the event.
