Likewise, I can spend a few hours; busy time with the holidays and all that entails on top of everything else.

Gary, WB5ULK, wants to operate.  I expect to have a computer suitable
for electronic logging available in time (I won't be here tomorrow or
Thursday but will have it Friday).  The Steppir is OOS, as you may
know, but we have the vertical+tuner available.  I have a D-STAR radio
available as well assuming there is to be D-STAR operation.
