I was thinking more as something short and sweet for alum indiations, like
OU, LSU, CLU or CU (for Clemson, unless they prefer a different one), OSU
(for Ohio State), and NA for "none of the above." But, that's because I'm
thinking both as a contester AND a CW op and so want something compact. The
problem with team monikers is that both LSU and Clemson share "Tiger."

There will be only four call signs involved, one for each University, and
those are all target/special event calls, so there won't be general QSOs as
in a contest, which means we don't need some special identifying moniker
when CQing.

I like Thomas's idea that operations cease for the schools during their
respective games, but there should be a period when we all operate together
so that we can contact each other.  Better yet, we should put all operating
time in the same period before both games, terminating before the 2200 UTC
kickoff time. This begs the question: how long will this last? 7:30 AM to
3:30 PM would be 8 h; that might be a good period for a first attempt and
as long as we care to go. Maybe shorter. It also leaves time for ops to get
to their respective game-viewing QTH.
