Two reminders:

1) We'll have a club meeting on Thursday, Dec. 4th at 7 p.m. at Van's Pig Stand. We need to have this meeting in order to prepare for the next item...

2) Skywarn Recognition Day!!! Friday, Dec. 6th-7th

NWCARC and OUARC will work this event from the NWC observation deck. We will need operators at all times (6 p.m. - 6 p.m.), but particularly for the overnight hours. No experience necessary! If you can help, even for a few hours, please e-mail our contest committee chair, Jerrod, at [log in to unmask]

Have a good Thanksgiving!

"The reward of the young scientist is the emotional thrill of being the first person in the history of the world to see something or to understand something... The reward of the old scientist is the sense of having seen a vague sketch grow into a masterly landscape." -- Cecilia Payne-Gaposchkin
