Student Organization Resource Office Holding Grand Opening Ceremony
This Thursday

The University of Oklahoma Student Association (UOSA) is
proud to announce the Grand Opening of the Student Organization
Resource Office (SORO). SORO is an office created for the specific
purpose of aiding and advising Registered Student Organizations
(RSO's) in every aspect of their creation and operation here at OU.

The Grand Opening Ceremony will take place this Thursday, February 3rd
from 7:30pm to 9:00pm in the UOSA Offices on the 1st Floor of the
Conoco Student Leadership Wing of the Oklahoma Memorial Union. The
Ceremony will begin with a brief history of the project and its goals
presented by members of SORO and the UOSA Executive Branch. All of the
equipment available for check-out from SORO will be on display and
demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the event. Attendees will
have a chance to test out some of the equipment for themselves,
including a high end Karaoke Machine and PA system. There will also be
plenty of refreshments on hand for all.

Eric Webb, SORO Coordinator had the following to say about The Grand
Opening: "This is going to be a fun and informative event. There are
so many services and opportunities that our office provides to student
groups at OU. So, we'd love to see as many members of those groups as
possible turn out for this event."

The Student Organization Resource Office was created last year by the
UOSA Executive Branch under Dean Spears and Chelsea Render and is made
possible by a generous grant from the OU Office of the President.
