Dear colleagues,

I just received the sad news about the passing away of Colin Fraser, a
friend of us and one of the authors included in the Communication for Social
Change Anthology. Colin has been instrumental during his many years at FAO
in promoting communication for development, and was the author of important
reports and books, and the initiator of the Communication for Development
Rountable. We had seen him last two years ago at the World Congress of
Communication for Development (WCCD).

See Sonia's message below.

Subject: Very Sad News

Dear All

Apologies for the round robin email. We are very sad to inform you that
Colin passed away on Monday morning. All three of us were with him at the
end and it was a peaceful end to a full and wonderful life. We hope that as
many of you as possible will be able to come to his funeral in Tolfa this
Saturday 20th at 15:30 in the church of San Egidio. It will be an occasion
to remember him and celebrate his life and we hope to enjoy a few glasses of
"vino" in his memory on Saturday evening.

If you are able to come please let us know by email so that we can try to
arrange accommodation for you.

Whether or not you are able to attend, if you would like to celebrate
Colin's
life rather than sending flowers please feel free to make a donation to the
CLL charity that we are supporting by visiting this web
site: www.justgiving.com/colinfraser

With love to you all

Sonia, Lain and Stuart
