Scholarships are available for the 2017/18 academic year at Cardiff
University, including the Master's Excellence Scholarships
(http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/funding-and-fees/masters-excellence-scholarships, deadline 15 March 2017), a range of other MA level scholarships (http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/international/funding-and-fees/international-scholarships/postgraduate-taught-scholarships), and a PhD research grant (http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/funding-and-fees/view/esrc-wales-dtp-phd-in-journalism-and-democracy, deadline 1 February
2017).

MA courses at Cardiff University's School of Journalism, Media and
Cultural Studies include the MA in Digital Media and Society
(http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/taught/courses/course/digital-media-and-society-ma), the MA in Journalism, Media and Communications (http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/study/postgraduate/taught/courses/course/journalism,-media-and-communications-ma), and a range of other MA programmes
(https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/journalism-media-cultural-studies/courses/postgraduate-taught).

We have a strong interest in citizen journalism, community media,
media activism, and we welcome applications from students interested
in these research fields. The School is well-known for its expertise
in both journalism studies and journalism training, and it has
developed a further focus on critical data studies, digital
citizenship and internet studies.

For any questions or further information, just get in touch.
Best,
Arne
