Join OWP for a Day of Celebrating Literacy!

The Oklahoma Writing Project invites you to attend the annual Spring Celebration of Writing for Secondary Students and Teachers. Each teacher may bring 5 students per adult, grades 6-12. Parents and student teachers are welcome, too. Register soon. Spaces will be limited!

This year, OWP is excited to announce that each conference participant will get to hear published poet Alberto Rios.

Students will attend a breakout session after hearing poet.  Sessions will provide writing activities for various genres and strategies to improve writing. All students are encouraged to attend and celebrate these amazing writers who will be honored. Parents may attend at the afternoon celebration for no cost. All participants staying for this portion of the conference may receive a copy of the 2019 Write to Win Anthology.
