Oklahoma Writing Project is receiving applications for a co-director for the 2009 and 2010 Invitational Summer Institutes.  The ISI is held during the month of June.  In addition there are two pre-institute Saturday meetings during April and May; one post-institute Saturday meeting in September; and the fall drive-in conference in which the co-director participates.  The stipend for co-directing the summer institute is $3300 the first year and $4300 the second year.

Requirements for applying include the following:  1.  Certified secondary and/or teaching middle/secondary.  2.  Able to commit for two years.  3.  Have previously been a coach in the summer institute.

Include in the Subject line:  Co-Director Application for 2009 & 2010 Invitational Summer Institute.  Applications are due via email by July 14, 2008.

4.  What is your understanding of the Co-Directing job?

5.  Would you be able to attend the National Writing Project conference November 20-22 in San Antonio, Texas, if given a partial travel grant?
