OWP Friends,

Below is a link to Amazon.com, where you may purchase a copy of this year'sAnthology of Winning Writing for only $4.00.  Inside you will find some wonderful student models to use in your teaching of the different genres.

At a recent OWP Leadership meeting, TCs suggested that many teachers do not enter the contest because of the $2.50 entry fee per piece.  Next year, OWP is trying to find a way to do away with entry fees so that more teachers will be able to enter their students' writing in the contest.  We hope to advertise and expand it and make it the most prestigious student writing contest in Oklahoma.  If you know organizations, groups, merchants, or individuals who may be interested in supporting the project, please contact me.
