Taught by Professor Kathryn Jenson White

Film Critic for the Oklahoma Gazette

Arts/Food/Travel Writer for Newspapers and Magazines



Eat, Read, Watch, Listen and See

Then share your experience with readers



Students will engage in group field experience including the following:

v   Eat as a group at a local restaurant

v   Read a current fiction or non-fiction book

v   Watch a theatrical-release film

v   Watch a recent DVD

v   Listen to a current CD

v   See a museum show



After each experience, students will write reviews for the course Web site.
Students will also write each of the following for the site:

v                   An editorial

v                   A commentary (humorous or serious) on a

   current social or political issue.
