Hi guys, 

Marcy and I are back from the UCWDC World Championships. The World
Championships were held at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We had a great
trip and our studio was WELL represented. We brought back 3 Word champions
this year. 

 

Carol McCoy won the "Female Gold Newcomer Pro-Am World Championship"

Jan Benson won the "Female Silver Newcomer Pro-Am World Championship"

Lee & Marcy Harpe won the' Couples Crown World Championship.

 

So as you can see, we had a great 10 days at the event. Leslie Heathman,
Treva Royall and James and Treva Royall all dance very well and placed very
high as well. 

We will have the website updated very soon so that you can see how everybody
from Harpe's did. 

 

It just goes to show you that we are doing something right here at Harpe's.
We put out the very best social dancers in the city and the very best
competitive dancers in the World. We are looking forward to a great 2009.
