Hi everybody,

We had a mixup with the scheduling for the Sarkey's Atrium tonight. It is unfortunately unavailable for dancing as the Geology Department is hosting their Christmas party this eveing. We instead have reserved the Traditions room tonight from 8-10pm. That's on the second floor of the Union between the main landing with the University Seal and Meacham Auditorium. It is a considerably smaller space than we're used to but its the best we could do on short notice.

I wanted to provide those of you with real jobs and real lives a final opportunity to pick up your Winter Ball tickets at the lower price after close of business hours. So drop by the Traditions room between 8 and 10pm tonight to buy tickets for the Snow Ball tomorrow night and, space permitting, maybe dance a little bit.

And I'm gonna say it one more time because I'm so excited. The 3rd Annual Winter Ball is tomorrow night, Saturday December 3rd in the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History. A beginner lesson will be taught at 7pm by the charming, effervescent Candi Boone and Dancing to the euphonius stylings of the Joe Cotton Jazztet until 11pm. Tickets are $6/person $10/couple if you pick them up tonight and $8/person at the door. If you have volunteered to help set up (and previously submitted your name for security clearance), please arrive at the main entrance to the Museum at 5pm. Set up should be very brief and those of you who wish to leave and dress up in the privacy of your own home should be able to do so with plenty of time before the dance actually begins.

Sorry for the inconvenience on the last minute room change and I hope to see you all tomorrow night.
Thanks again,
Patrick Macklin
