Hello and good day to you, ballroom dancers!
Here we are again, nearing the end of the semester and thus inevitably spending much time in pondering what must be done before we are to start a new year.
#1) We have lessons tonight, which was the reason for this reminder in the first place.
6:30, 8:00, and 9:30, Scholar's Room, Union 3rd Floor. You know the drill (if not, e-mail me).
#2) We shall be ordering T-shirts soon! We have a different design for you to check out, so be ready to vote
on one or the other at tonight's lessons.
#3) The Snow Ball, our formal Winter dance, is shaping up beautifully - you all simply must attend. :-}
Remember: Friday November 30th, 7-8 pm Lesson with Kate, 8-11 pm Dance Party
$10 for two tickets, $6 for one ticket, and 0$ for a ticket if you've paid dues twice this year.
Live band, refreshments, and wondrous decorations.
#4) We're going to need your help to make the Snow Ball a truly smashing success! We'll talk more about it
later, but be prepared to help out by:
. . . sitting at a booth in the Union the week before the Ball, selling tickets.
. . . helping us decorate the Ballroom the day of the ball so it will be beautiful.
. . . advertising for the ball by throwing flyers up all over campus and talking to people about it.
. . . bringing your lovely selves to the Ball and having fun dressing up, mingling, and
showing off/re-learning ;-) what you've learned this semester.
#5) We seriously need some assistants/organizers/teachers for next semester. Volunteer if you love your ballroom club!
