Are you thinking about starting an MLA Specialization? Are you currently
working towards an MLA Specialization? Wait, MLA Specialization, what’s
that?

If any of these questions pertain to you, then you should register for the
FREE MLA Specializations Information Session!

The South Central and Southern Chapters of the Medical Library Association
are offering continuing education classes approved for the MLA
Specializations at their upcoming Joint Meeting
<https://www.sccmla.org/Meetings/2023> in New Orleans. Therefore, the
Chapters are hosting an information session to provide details about
obtaining the specializations.

Our guest speakers, Jim Westwood and Debra Cavanaugh of MLA, will give a
brief presentation and answer your lingering questions about the
specializations.

The 30-minute MLA Specializations Information Session will be held on
*Wednesday,
July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM CST*.

Please register for this event at
https://lsuhs.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJ0vce6gqzkoH9NMyyuIx0VAEf9JE5lhmlNB.

Deadline for registration is Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 12:00 PM (Noon) CST.
Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with a Zoom link to
the online session and a link to a pre-session survey. Please submit any
questions for the speakers via the survey. Participants will be able to ask
additional questions during the session.
