Do you need some financial assistance for an upcoming professional development opportunity? The William D. Postell, Sr. Professional Development Award<https://www.sccmla.org/postellaward> may be for you. This award partially or completely covers registration fees for a continuing education course or workshop no matter if it is virtual or in-person. It also will cover up to $400 of travel-related expenses for in-person opportunities.

To qualify for this award, you must be a SCC/MLA member with an MLIS (or equivalent) in a professional position. Submit your application at least 15 days prior to the course or workshop to Lou Ann Thompson, subcommittee chair, at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.
