The Emerging Leader award<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.nnlm.gov/funding/rfa/emerging-leader-award__;!!GNU8KkXDZlD12Q!9LWPSHf6YTjeJDaD233Dg7Le_u9PuZVYi7sREq7NXNhykR14GGbs5GEd8gozsaEmTi0txQeItYfCHEkCQz6y-xByJORRV55JAzjo$ [nnlm[.]gov]> is still accepting applications! This award is intended for mid-career librarians that are preparing for a position of leadership in an academic health sciences library.

The selected recipient will receive mentoring from a health sciences library director from one of the seven states in NNLM Region 3, a week-long visit to the mentor institution, and a trip to visit the RML at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX.

We have made minor changes and added additional supports to the program that we have not had in the past. We’re very excited to welcome our next Emerging Leader, and we hope that you’ll apply!

The new deadline for applications is October 31st. Please note this is the same deadline as the Leadership Pathways award<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.nnlm.gov/funding/rfa/leadership-pathways-award__;!!GNU8KkXDZlD12Q!9LWPSHf6YTjeJDaD233Dg7Le_u9PuZVYi7sREq7NXNhykR14GGbs5GEd8gozsaEmTi0txQeItYfCHEkCQz6y-xByJORRVzX3np4h$ [nnlm[.]gov]> which is for early to mid-career librarians interested in exploring leadership roles in the profession.
