Volume 30, Number 3, of the international journal CONFLUENCIA, edited by Professor Ester G. González of the University of Northern Colorado, is a special number dedicated to the memory of Professor Elias L. Rivers, one of the most illustrious scholars of early modern Spanish literature and a cherished teacher and friend, who passed away in December of 2013. The number (180 pp.) includes essays by Inés Azar, Emilie L. Bergmann, Joseph F. Chorpenning, Anne J. Cruz, Bruno M. Damiani, G. Cory Duclos, Timothy M. Foster, Edward Friedman, David Lee Garrison, Ray Green, Mark D. Johnston, Monique Roelofs and Norman S. Holland, Robert H. Russell, and John H. Sinnigen. Edward Friedman was guest-editor.

Subscribers to CONFLUENCIA will receive copies of the special number.
