Estimados colegas,
Me preocupa que mucha información que debiera aparecer en índices literarios no figura en, v. gr., la Bibliografía Internacional de la Modern Language Association, entidad que ha archivado entradas bibliográficas desde 1922 y cuyos catálogos se pueden consultar electrónicamente a cualquier hora alrededor del mundo. Como saben, lo que no catalogamos en índices nos hace invisibles. La MLA no puede hacerlo todo (en efecto, no lo hace). Así que si han publicado cualquier libro, artículo o ensayo (ahora o en el pasado) y la publicación (el libro o la revista en que apareció) tiene un ISBN (International Standard Book Number) o ISSN (International Standard Serial Number), nosotros mismos podemos cataloger nuestro trabajo electrónicamente (mandando a la MLA una copia en .PDF). Desde ahora (c. agosto 2015) ya no es necesario mandar una copia impresa a la sede central de la MLA en Nueva York. Lo único que tenemos que hacer es teclear el enlace abajo, añadir la información bibliográfica pedida y mandar una copia de nuestro trabajo (ensayo, artículo o libro) en .PDF. ¡Facilísimo y gratis!
