Estimados colegas:

[Rosa Maria Bollettieri Bosinelli is Professor of English at the Advenced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, University of Bologna at Forlì, a faculty she chaired for six years. Later (1999)she was elected chair of the newly founded Department of Interdisciplinary Studies on Translation Languages and Culture (SITLeC) that she directed until 2005. In June 2000 she was elected President of the International James Joyce Foundation -- the first and only Italian scholar to have been appointed to this position by an international community. She currently presides over the Centro Diego Fabbri, a cultural institution for the promotion of theatre studies, in collaboration with local Institutions and the University of Bologna. She has published extensively on James Joyce, translation studies, political language, advertising, multimedia translation, and metaphor. She lectured at Berkeley, Stanford, Brown University, Miami, Columbus, Cincinnati, Laramie, Albuquerque, Paris III, Trinity College in Dublin, McGIll university in Montreal]
