Hello everyone,

The January Bioinformatics Bulletin is now available at http://microgen.ouhsc.edu/bioinfobulletins/. This bulletin was written by Jeremy Zaitshik who is a bioinformatics specialist at the Laboratory for Genomics and Bioinformatics on the OUHSC campus. It introduces the reader to the important role of bioinoformatics in whole-genome shotgun sequencing. This process is placed into practice here at the LGB lab and at other labs and sequencing facilities all over the world. If you know anyone who might find this topic interesting, please don't hesitate to forward it along.

Thank you and I hope you enjoy this months bulletin.
