New Mydoom variant destroys files

This article says at one point that 7% of all e-mails worldwide
currently
are copies of Mydoom.A, and that 5% are the new Mydoom.F, which
is a file destroyer.  There's a lack of info in this particular article
about
the pattern of file destruction, anyone know how it works?
