I am trying to setup some ip network printers and the standard print
util gui does not keep the queue name that you give it. I want to be
able to use that name to print in a shell. It looks like /etc/printcap
is generated via cups. Is there a simple way without jumping into the
cups config? I could setup an alias in my .bashrc, but that seems like
a kludge.

thanks,
Danny
