Every so often, around this time of year, Americans must make a choice. This choice is one of the most important aspects of being a United States citizen. Sometimes, this decision is difficult, like who should run the country; other times, it is easy, like whether to eat eggplant (eggplant is gross). And O.U. Improv isn't here to tell you what to choose, or how to choose it, or even what your choices are.
Well, actually, we kind of are. Because today, there is only one right choice. One choice that will bring joy and laughter where all others will leave you filled with regret and anguish. One choice that is best for everyone, no matter age, height, shape, color, or propensity to enjoy eggplant. And that choice, my fellow Americans, is improv. So cast your ballot tonight by attending O.U. Improv's free November show, located in the Scholar's Room of the Oklahoma Memorial Union. The polls open at 7:30 p.m. and voting begins at 8:00. The polls close at 10:00, and after that, the fate of improv will be decided. So come show your support and vote with your feet for O.U. Improv!
Our shows are intended for all ages, but please remember that unscripted comedy, much like political debates, may not always be suitable for all audiences. Any SuperPACs or corporations in attendance will be able donate at the door, just like any person.
