Nancy, on your last sentence--the LAC chair should be on the Program
Committee--though late, I will appoint you to the committee. I will
forward this suggestion to Brian, so he can make sure the LAC Chair is
on the 2007 Program Committee and hopefully this will become a

No, they aren't on the registration form. I don't know how they got
left off, but at some point those 2 were left off, AND "Nursing
Libraries" turned into "Nursing".
I remember thinking that "Nursing" was kind of odd to have on there but
didn't follow up & compare it to the original list.

AND another missing one: "Go Local - not Loco (Texas Go Local
AND that late addition of the AHIP sharing session.
AND another 1 or 2 where the title was altered.

I think going back to the idea of signup sheets at registration might
be the way to fix it. We really can't go back & change the registration
form after we've had 82 registered already

FYI to-date numbers on RT:
Research 101 4
Research 102 3
Changing world of reference: 18
Archives: 6
Use stats: 17
Developing programs for consumers: 4
Scholarly publishing: 5
Decision support tools: 7
Article linkers : 7
ILL: 5
Nursing: 2

I must point out that a couple of people signed up for more than 2 -
one signed up for 5! But it was just to gauge interest and we didn't
tell them to limit how many. But looking at the numbers that we have,
I'd say the reference one and the use stats one could be split into 2

Again, I'm sorry. We proofed things again and again, but if you don't
have the originals beside the proofs, you're just looking for typos &
errors rather than omissions.

And my name's not on the report either, but then, I'm not an official
member of the committee.
