Dear Members of the Minorities and Communication Division:
Greetings. I just want to thank you all for your contributions (as speakers, discussants,
moderators and audience) to making the 2010 conference in Denver a success. Attendance at the
division's panels and poster sessions, and the quality of the interactions during the sessions,
were excellent indicators of the appeal and relevance of programming. Special thanks to those
of you who attended the panels on Saturday afternoon; we had great presentations and
stimulating discussions.

Gracias a todos for your camaraderie and commitment to meeting our division's goals. As I
often tell other colleagues, I am a member of several divisions within AEJMC but seldom see
members' meetings as well attended and as welcoming as our MAC members' meetings are year after
year. I look forward to collaborating with you during the academic year, as we prepare to
mark the 40th anniversary of the Minorities and Communication Division in summer 2011.
Cordially,
Ilia Rodriguez
