Dear Colleagues:

The Japan-U.S. Communication Association (JUCA) is planning a roundtable panel tentatively titled "Bridging Japan-U.S. Communication: Toyota's Crisis Communication and Media's Response" at the 2010 NCA conference to discuss Toyota's ongoing crisis from various standpoints (i.e., journalism, public relations, rhetoric). We're specifically looking for the following three participants:

1. A U.S. scholar who worked in journalism -- whether print or broadcast -- in the U.S.
2. A Japanese scholar who worked in public relations -- whether corporate, nonprofit, government or agency -- in Japan 3. A Japanese scholar who worked in journalism -- whether print or broadcast -- in Japan

Please respond to me at [log in to unmask] ASAP if you're willing to participate in this panel. Even if your profile doesn't exactly match any of the above or your real-world experience is short, please write to me about your scholarly interest in relation to this issue. Thank you.
