We could send flowers and/or make donations in lieu of flowers to his
scholarship fund.

I'd suggest sending flowers or a donation on his behalf from MAC. What
say you MAC members?

Subject: Passing of a Journalism Trailblazer

MAC members,

It is with great sorrow that I share the news of the passing of one of
the giants in journalism education, Dr. Lionel Barrow, Jr. Many of you
may already know of this sad news. I just posted a tribute with some of
my personal thoughts on my blog this morning.

Also, attached is a statement forwarded from Dean Jannette Dates at
Howard University.
