Call For Proposals
AEJMC Convention 2004
Internships and Careers Interest Group

The Internships and Careers Interest Group of the AEJMC invites submission of panel and special session proposals for the 2004 annual convention in Toronto.

All proposals should be submitted by email to [log in to unmask]
Proposals are due by 10/27/03, following the format outlined below.

Our interest group spans the whole of the AEJMC organization. We welcome proposals from any area; advertising, public relations, newspapers, mass media, visual communications, magazines, history, ethics, minorities, etc.

If you have any thoughts or research perspective on internships, careers, or career developments for students of journalism and mass communication, we could be your forum.

Please include each of the following details with each proposal submitted:
1. Suggested panel/session title
2. Suggested panel/session type (research, PF&R, teaching)
3. Possible panel/session co-sponsors (other AEJMC divisions or interest groups who you think might be interested in this topic)
4. Summary statement of the proposed session content (a short paragraph or two)
5. Suggested panelists or guest speakers
6. Key contact person for the panel/session and contact information
