CALL FOR PAPERS

The AEJMC Magazine Division invites submissions of original,
non-published research papers on any aspect of magazines for the AEJMC
2004 Convention, August 4-7, in Toronto. All research methodologies are welcome, as are papers on all aspects of magazines.
     Rules: Your paper should be no more than 7,500 words, or about 25
double-spaced pages, plus notes. Only one paper per author will be
accepted for presentation in the Magazine Division research sessions.
Please follow the guidelines in the AEJMC general call for papers (see
aejmc.org). Write the paper title on your submitted disk. Please include six 75-word abstracts and one 150-word abstract. Your name and
affiliation should not appear on either abstract, but you should include the title. Also send one self-addressed, stamped postcard to acknowledge receipt.
      Evaluation Criteria:  Papers will be evaluated on originality and importance of topic; literature review; clarity of research purpose; focus; use of original and primary sources and how they support the paper's purpose and conclusions; writing quality and organization; and the degree to which the paper contributes to the field of magazine research.
