Those of you attending the MAC meeting might also want to know that the Commission on the Status of Minorities will have its business meeting on Friday, Aug. at 5:15 p.m., immediately preceding Paula Poindexter's reception.  

CSM is also looking for a secretary.  Please attend this meeting and consider filling this position if you are interested in a leadership position in AEJMC.

As you register for the conference, do not forget to sign up for our Scholastic Journalism-Minorities in Communication Luncheon. Speaker is Dr. Clint C. Wilson II of Howard University who will discuss the challenges facing the MAC division. In addition, the luncheon will feature the presentation of the Scholastic Journalism Division’s Robert P. Knight Multicultural Award and recognition of the 2013 Lionel C. Barrow, Jr. Award winner.
