Let's keep a coordinated list of our activities in tribute to Lee.
So far we are discussing to:

1. Increase the Barrow Doctoral Scholarship to at least $3,000.
Both MAC and CSM would contribute, as would individuals.
Checks should be made payable to AEJMC with Barrow Scholarship in the "For" line, and mailed to 234 Outlet Pointe Blvd., Suite A, Columbia, SC 29210-5667.

2. An annual panel at AEJMC on increasing the number of minorities in doctoral programs

3. Investigate with the Council of Divisions -- to see if they can place a special panel on the schedule to honor and remember who Lee was and what he meant to the diversity efforts of all of AEJMC.

4. At the 'Diversity' table at the Doctors Are In Session for the 2009 AEJMC convention, place materials of many kinds that have information about Lee.

5. Tributes:
- a tribute on the AEJMC blog (already done)
- an AEJMC tribute on the AEJMC web site
- personal tributes on the AEJMC web site (we all need to send these in)
- in the convention program book (maybe with sponsors)

6. An AEJMC official and public position statement on Lee's importance (write to AEJMC Headquarters at: [log in to unmask], urging the organization to take a public position on the life and death of Dr. Lee Barrow)
